Pendula Kelpie Stud uses the pressure and release technique. This sees the handler applying pressure on the dog, to encourage an action from the dog, and then releasing pressure and rewarding the dog once the dog has followed the command. It is the same technique some horse owners use on their horse to get them to work and is a simple and straightforward technique to use.

One on one training will start with beginners, intermediate and working classes depending on what you need and where your companion’s skill level is.

Several times a year, Pedula Kelpie Stud hosts specialised trainers who run working dog clinics. This is a more social environment for both handlers and their companions. Providing an opportunity for dogs to train with other working dogs and to meet like minded people, who have an interest in working dogs.

Group Training
